HSL Finals Richmonds two split-squad teams look forward to one more week of pre- season games before the season proper starts on April 18th. The "minors" team beat London Marauders and Guildford, both 2010 league opponents, before succumbing to Sidewinders, last seasons Single A winners. The mixed team, mainly consisting of past and future Dragons will play Windsor Bears in a 9 inning, 3 hour game (whichever comes first) at 11.30 on Sunday at Flood Field to decide the third place in the HSL Minors division. Flood Field lived up to its name on Easter Saturday, and the Majors fixtures were unfortunately postponed. The Richmond Majors team, a mix of Flames and Knights players, have suffered from a lack of depth in the pre-season, and lost to Bracknell(NBL and AAA) and newly formed Essex Redbacks (AAA) before having their game against Southampton cancelled due to the inclement weather and field conditions. The Richmond "Majors" team will play Milton Keynes Bucks at Flood Field at 14.45 on Sunday.
